Election
Why Is It Important for Christians to Vote in Every Election?
As Christians, we believe the privilege of living in a nation where we can freely elect our leaders is a gift from God — one we are called to steward faithfully. Just as Adam and Eve were given the garden to tend and keep, we have been given this republic to steward.
The United States is a Representative Republic — subject not to man, but to written law. Our elected officials represent us at every level: local, state, and federal. Your vote is your voice.
Local Elections Matter Most
While national elections get the headlines, it is your local elections — mayor, city council, school board, county commissioner — that have the greatest direct impact on your daily life. These officials make decisions about your schools, your roads, your taxes, and your community's future.
Mid-Term Elections
Mid-term elections determine which party controls Congress and whether the sitting president has the legislative support to advance their agenda. These elections are just as consequential as presidential years.
What Should You Do?
Pray, investigate, and vote.
Take time to research the candidates. Seek God's wisdom. Then make your voice heard at the ballot box.
